Kitchen Refresh: A Sustainable & Minimalist Transformation
A bright, timeless, and minimalist kitchen without the waste of a full demolition.
My client saw the potential in the existing structure, so I focused on a smart upcycling approach—upgrading the kitchen while respecting the environment.

The Wood Detail
I designed custom wooden recessed handles. This warm timber element creates a beautiful connection with the floors and adds character to the minimalist palette.
Seamless Surfaces
I unified the countertops and wall tiles with a micro-cement finish, creating a continuous, modern look.

Integrated Design
I built the appliances into the cabinetry and designed a custom LED fixture for perfect lighting.
Privacy & Light
In front of the window, I installed custom shelving. This solved two problems: it created a space for decoration and acted as a natural shield for privacy from neighbors.

The Process: A Hands-on Approach
My process started with a deep analysis of what was already working. Instead of a total demolition, I took a 'surgical' approach—identifying the solid structures to keep and the elements that needed a complete redesign to improve flow and aesthetics.
I personally managed every step of this kitchen upgrade. My work went far beyond the initial sketches; I handled the entire journey—from designing and refining proposals with the client to the technical installation of components and appliances.
By working directly with diverse materials like micro-cement, timber, and lacquer, I was able to hand-craft and install custom solutions that perfectly fit the space. This 'hands-on' involvement allowed me to adjust every detail on-site, ensuring that the final result was not only beautiful but also technically seamless.

Cabinetry & Accessibility
I kept the solid structures and refinished the doors with a matte off-white lacquer. To improve ergonomics, I converted several lower cabinets into deep drawers and added a new pantry unit.
