Every year, mountains of discarded clothing accumulate, destined for landfills. This project transforms that waste into something extraordinary: acoustic panels, furniture, and installations that redefine workspaces.
Here’s how it works:
Upcycled Clothing: Garments are collected, washed, and treated—possibly even from your employees.
Layered and Reinforced: The materials are compressed into durable "cloth sandwiches" and wrapped in recycled felt for a smooth, tactile finish.
Shaped and Assembled: These blocks are cut into geometric forms and assembled into flexible, functional pieces.
This process doesn’t just reduce waste—it tells a story of sustainability, transformation, and creativity, adding depth and purpose to your office space.
Components
1. Upcycled Textiles
Source: Discarded clothing, including denim, cotton, and polyester.
Processing: Cleaned, sanitized, and compressed into dense, durable layers.
2. Recycled Felt
Material: Soft, recycled felt wraps the textile core.
Purpose: Adds durability, sound absorption, and a refined finish.
3. Structural Strength
Core Design: Textiles pressed into “cloth sandwiches” for strength and functionality.
Applications: Acoustic panels, furniture, and partitions.
4. Green Integration
Planters: Built into modular pieces, using natural wood or recycled plastic.
Complement: Biophilic accents enhance the recycled textures.
